It doesn’t matter how old your wheels are or what sort of state they are in – we can help. Our in-house engineering section means we can carry out repairs, machine and generally tidy up the metalwork if it needs it or you want it done.
We can rubber directly onto straked wheels, effectively burying the strakes in rubber, or we can rubber onto bands pressed onto straked wheels.
We shotblast all surfaces which are going to be bonded, but we can also offer the service of shotblasting the hubs, and priming them, so they come back to you all ready for painting.
Due to our flexible approach, we are able to bespoke finish to customer requirements – even if it is a bit out of the ordinary. So, if you decide you want your wheels thicker, thinner, plain, grooved or profiled, we will accommodate your wishes, and provide you with a high quality finished product.
As a standard and included in your price will be tapered sides, radiussed edges and one or two grooves in your rear wheels. We only use high grade materials and we hot vulcanise all our wheels using a steam autoclave to give the best bond adhesion that you can. Our experienced, well trained operators offer a high level of expertise which ensures a quality product.
Please give us a call, we can offer you a quotation based on the dimensions of your wheels, so you don’t even have to move from the comfort of your home. As an alternative though, we exhibit every year at The Great Dorset Steam Fair with our hosts Vintage Spirit Magazine. You can find us in the Vintage Spirit Restoration Marquee where our friendly staff will be more than happy to discuss your wheels and what we can do for you.
